1 tray chicken pieces (thighs, drumsticks), skin on - about 3lbs
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tsp minced ginger
4 cloves minced garlic
2 tbs sesame oil
salt and pepper
Mix all ingredients except for honey in a 1 gallon ziploc bag. Marinate overnight in fridge, turning periodically to make sure all pieces are evenly coated.
Heat oven to 400F.
Pour bag contents into a 9" x 13" foil-lined pan. Bake for 45 minutes, turning halfway thru for even browning
Brush with honey and return to oven for last 15 minutes. Cover with foil if the chicken is getting too dark.
Serve with steamed rice.
